We are currently supporting a leading insurance organisation as they look to appoint an experienced professional to support their Pricing team on an interim basis.

The Role

  • Review and rewrite complex SQL code snippets and large-scale codebases
  • Support the re-code of pricing data extracts in line with agreed templates
  • Complete end-to-end testing, validation and productionisation of data extracts
  • Optimise SQL code, query performance and execution plans
  • Support pipeline execution through Azure Data Factory
  • Collaborate with pricing stakeholders to ensure data extracts meet business requirements

What You'll Need

  • Advanced SQL experience, including dynamic SQL and code optimisation
  • Strong experience reviewing, rewriting and testing complex SQL code
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, including boards and repositories
  • Experience using Azure Data Factory, including pipelines
  • Experience with GIT or other version control software
  • Ability to work independently and deliver quickly within a remote contract environment
