At Moss
At Moss, we give finance professionals the power to automate their day-to-day and make forward-thinking decisions.
Our team and culture make us unique — we’re driven by impact and growth, where every one of us strives to learn and excel. Recognised by Sifted’s Rising 100 and LinkedIn's Top Startups, we’re here to help propel your career and together, make Moss a lasting success.
We're Hiring a Pricing & Deal Desk Manager
You'd take ownership of one of Moss's highest-leverage commercial functions: the pricing deal desk. It's already delivered real results, and it matters more every quarter as deal volume grows and Moss moves into bigger, more complex deals.
What Makes the Role Unusual
The desk already runs on AI. An agent picks up each request, pulls the deal's scoring and call history, calculates margin, and drafts a reasoned reply; you approve, correct, or overrule it. So the job is two things at once: the reviewer who decides live deals, and the person who builds & improves the AI-based deal desk agent
Your Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day approval flow for non-standard pricing, discounts, and commercial terms, acting as the fast, consistent escalation point for reps without slowing deals down.
- Build and evolve pricing governance, including discount rules, approval thresholds, and playbooks, converting recurring exceptions into documented policy.
- Drive deal health across the funnel: discount discipline, price realization, deal structure, and win rate by segment, diagnosing where deals leak value and fixing it.
- Translate customer segmentation into differentiated pricing guidance and deal strategies, partnering with Sales to get it applied in real deals, and getting it into the ruleset so it's applied consistently.
- Coach reps on pricing confidence and value-based selling
- Partner with Customer Success to adapt the pricing and deal playbook for consistency after the sale.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About You
- Proven experience in a deal desk, pricing, commercial, revenue operations, or sales-strategy role, ideally in B2B SaaS or fintech. Experience standing up or scaling a deal desk or pricing process from scratch is a plus.
- Strong analytical toolkit, including SQL and/or advanced spreadsheet modeling.
- The ability to leverage AI to build a scalable Pricing Deal Desk model, or the appetite to learn it. The direction is a low-touch desk: the agent executes the rules, its output gets better as you correct it, and each additional deal costs less human attention than the last
- Fluent in English; German or Dutch is a plus.
In Addition, Here Are the Skills and Attributes We Are Looking For:
- Comfortable holding the line with Sales on discount governance while staying a genuine partner to the team.
- A critical eye for AI output. The agent is sometimes confidently wrong, and catching that before a rep acts on it is part of the job.
- Brings commercial judgment: understands how reps sell and how price sensitivity shifts across customer segments.
- Structured and high-ownership, at ease in a fast, low-process, high-change environment.
- Able to move fluidly between detailed data analysis and higher-level strategic thinking.
