Role Description

The Pricing Executive is a full-time, hybrid role based in Egham, with the option to work from home for part of the week. This role is responsible for preparing and maintaining competitive freight and logistics quotations across different modes of transport and regions. Day-to-day tasks include:

The Pricing Executive will collaborate closely with operations, sales, and customer service teams to develop tailored pricing solutions, respond to rate requests in a timely manner, and support tender submissions. The role also involves:

  • Monitoring industry trends
  • Maintaining strong relationships with carriers and agents
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of pricing processes and tools

Qualifications

  • Strong numerical, analytical, and Excel skills, with the ability to interpret rate structures and margin requirements.
  • Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain environments, ideally in a pricing or commercial support role.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with sales, operations, and external partners.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple pricing requests and deadlines.
  • Comfort with using digital tools and internal systems for data entry, rate management, and reporting.
  • Customer-focused mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering cost-effective solutions.
  • Ability to work independently within a hybrid setup (office in Egham and from home), demonstrating reliability and time management.
  • Relevant education or training in logistics, business, or a related field is beneficial; prior UK or international freight experience is a plus.
