What We’re Looking For
We are seeking two talented, ambitious, and dedicated university students to join our team of Actuarial experts in our London office. At Pacific Life Re, we encourage a fresh perspective and value those who are willing to challenge conventional thinking. The successful candidates will join one of our Insurance Pricing or Capital Solutions teams.
The Insurance Pricing team sets cutting-edge pricing assumptions for biometric risks across our Savings and Retirement line of business. Our Capital Solutions team is our newest line of business, where we create innovative capital efficient reinsurance solutions to help our clients with balance sheet and earnings management.
To excel in our Internship Programme, you should possess the following qualities:
- You should be a penultimate year student available for a 6-month industry placement that you will complete with Pacific Life Re before returning to university to finish your final year.
- You must be studying Actuarial Science, Maths, MORSE, or a related discipline.
- You must have existing permanent Legal Right To Work in the UK; we are not offering sponsorship for this position.
- Exceptionally strong numeracy and the ability to analyse and interpret complex data.
- A collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
