The role sits at the intersection of Finance, Sales, Operations, Technology, and Product, giving you broad visibility and influence across the organization. You’ll use market intelligence, financial data, supplier costs, and customer insights to build pricing strategies that protect margins while supporting growth. A key part of the role is creating scalable pricing tools and processes that enable fast, commercially sound decisions across regions and businesses. This is an opportunity for a commercially minded pricing leader to build new capabilities and have a direct impact on profitability and customer value.
Accountabilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, and implementation of new pricing strategies, models, and go-to-market approaches.
- Build strong relationships with Product, Sales, Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Technology stakeholders to identify and execute strategic pricing opportunities.
- Partner with Finance to ensure input costs, financial data, and reconciliation processes are accurately reflected in pricing models.
- Work closely with Sales teams to incorporate market feedback into pricing tools, offers, and commercial strategies.
- Collaborate with Accounting to ensure revenue, margin, and profitability are appropriately represented in pricing models and reporting.
- Identify, maintain, and regularly update input pricing for key suppliers and external cost components.
- Manage card scheme and interchange costs, including monitoring scheme changes, industry developments, and relevant member communications.
- Define pricing strategies from underlying input costs through standard, customized, and bundled customer offers.
- Develop and manage pricing tools that enable efficient, accurate, and commercially effective decision-making during the sales process.
- Establish and implement a scalable margin management process, including regular profitability monitoring across regions and business units.
- Lead the re-pricing and ongoing monitoring of existing customers to ensure pricing remains commercially sustainable.
- Manage incentive and revenue-share arrangements between operating businesses and the wider organization.
- Design and manage sales incentive programs that align commercial behavior with business objectives.
- Use data, market research, competitor analysis, and financial insights to identify pricing opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
- Establish processes and procedures that support a customer-centric and commercially effective approach to pricing and finance.
- Lead and develop relevant teams while promoting collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
