Pricing Manager – Life & Reinsurance | London

I’m working on a rare, brand-new opportunity with a leading global life insurance group looking to bring a superstar actuary into their growing team! This is a chance to join a team of three, take ownership of your work, full autonomy and build your experience in pricing reinsurance deals across a range of US and Asian life insurance products.

Location: Central London, 3 days per week in the office

Salary: £90,000 – £100,000 + generous bonus (depending on experience and PQE)

You’ll be instrumental in the pricing of global reinsurance deals, working across technical pricing, underwriting and modelling. You get the opportunity to collaborate with teams across US and Asia, giving exposure to different products and markets.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

I’m looking for someone who is ambitious, results-driven and technically strong, with the determination to get stuck into complex deals and the confidence to work independently. Reinsurance pricing would be great, but if you have strong life insurance pricing experience and eager to learn, I’d be keen to discuss further.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A qualified Life or Pensions Actuary.
  • 5+ years’ experience in life insurance, reinsurance or a related actuarial role.
  • Strong actuarial modelling skills.
  • Someone who takes initiative, enjoys problem-solving and is keen to keep developing their technical expertise.
  • The ability to take a piece of work from start to finish, from gathering data and building models through to analysing results and presenting findings.
  • Knowledge of Solvency II or a comparable solvency-based regime.
  • A driven, organised individual who takes pride in producing high-quality work.
