Pricing & Market Insight Manager
My client, a fast-growing mortgage lender based in London, is looking to hire a new Pricing & Market Insight Manager to join a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day management and execution of pricing activity across equity release and non-equity release propositions.
- Monitor competitor pricing, product developments, and market trends, identifying opportunities and risks and turning insight into recommendations.
- Work closely with Proposition, Data Science, Capital Markets, and Commercial teams to support pricing decisions and proposition development.
- Drive improvements in pricing governance, controls, reporting, and sourcing system management.
- Help evolve the firm's pricing approach to a more sophisticated, insight-led pricing capability.
- Prepare pricing recommendations for senior stakeholders based on market conditions, competitor activity, and commercial objectives.
- Support repricing activity and ensure accurate implementation across all customer and broker-facing systems.
- Monitor competitor pricing, criteria, product feature changes, leveraging AI and modern analytical tools to improve speed and accuracy of monitoring.
- Produce regular market insight reporting for senior stakeholders.
- Manage the representation of products, criteria, and affordability across sourcing systems and market databases.
- Ensure all pricing, sourcing, and market-facing information remain accurate and up to date.
- Work with stakeholders to assess commercial viability of new initiatives.

Key Skills Required

- Experience in a mortgage pricing, mortgage proposition, commercial, product, or analytical role.
- Strong understanding of UK mortgage products and the intermediary mortgage market.
- Experience analyzing competitor pricing and market activity.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong Excel and data analysis capability.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growing business environment.
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management.
