About the role
The Pricing Operations Analyst plays a key role in supporting the delivery of IAG Cargo’s central commercial pricing policy and ensuring consistent pricing governance across the global network. The role is responsible for coordinating network-wide pricing activities, including Global RFPs, contract design and utilisation monitoring, and the implementation of charges and commercial frameworks. Working closely with regional pricing teams and commercial stakeholders, the analyst provides analytical, operational, and governance support to help shape pricing decisions, improve pricing consistency, and drive commercial performance across markets and customer segments.
What you’ll do
- Manage and coordinate global RFPs and tender processes across the network.
- Maintain and govern the IAG Cargo Commercial Pricing Policy, ensuring consistent application.
- Design and manage commercial contracts, ensuring they are fit for purpose and meet the needs of the business.
- Monitor contract utilisation, administer dead freight charges, and identify and highlight performance risks.
- Lead the management of market rates and index-based pricing mechanisms.
- Develop and maintain fuel and other cost-recovery pricing strategies.
- Analyse pricing performance, revenue trends, and commercial outcomes across the network.
- Use market intelligence and competitor insights to support pricing decisions and recommendations.
- Provide guidance on product pricing and value differentiation across the portfolio.
- Lead pricing operations processes, including rule management, rate uploads, data governance, and tool development.

Skills and Experience:
Essential Experience
- Evidence of ability to make decisions and judgements based on detailed analysis.
- History of driving change identified from analysis and decisions.
- A strong team player with the energy and drive to achieve the team’s objectives.

Desirable Experience
- Experience working in Pricing or Revenue Management.
- Experience of working with other group departments, for example Sales.
- Experience of working with Cargo data sources (e.g. WACD, Seabury).
- Understanding of the Cargo business.
