  • Contract: Fixed Term for 12 months

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of Felixstowe West! As Chair of Pride in Place Board, I am looking for someone with good connections to and/or awareness of assets, needs and opportunities in West Felixstowe.

I will be looking for experience of how you have fostered and nurtured trusted relationships with a community to enrich lives and give hope.

Together we will create safe spaces for people to feel heard and listened to.

Your role:

We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Communities and Leisure Team as Pride in Place - Programme Manager.

The successful candidate will lead the development and delivery of Pride in Place Programme (Neighbourhood Investment Plan) for Felixstowe West, a £20m, long-term regeneration initiative comprising multiple interrelated projects, grants and commissions.

The role operates at the intersection of East Suffolk Council and the Pride in Place Neighbourhood Board and is responsible for shaping, coordinating and delivering programme activity in an evolving environment.

What you will need:

The successful candidate will have proven experience of delivering complex programmes and/or projects, ideally within regeneration, community led development or public sector environments and experience of working in complex environments involving multi stakeholder partnerships and transformational leadership.
