Pharmacy Technician Opportunity at NHS Forth Valley

Are you a motivated and enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician looking for a new challenge? NHS Forth Valley has an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team working within GP practices.

About the Role

As a Primary Care Pharmacy Technician, you will play a key role in supporting safe, effective pharmaceutical care, ensuring patients get the best possible outcome from their medicines.

You will join a team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy support workers delivering a much appreciated and well-respected Pharmacotherapy Service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide pharmaceutical care in collaboration with the wider multidisciplinary team in hospital, community pharmacy, and care homes settings.
  • Ensure seamless pharmaceutical care.
  • Effective interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.

Requirements

  • Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery.
  • Must be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
