Job Title: Primary Classroom and Learning Support Assistant

Location: Crawley and Surrounding Areas

Position Type: Full-Time, Part-Time and Daily Cover

Pay Rate: GBP85.00 - GBP105.00 per day (Weekly PAYE)

We are recruiting energetic Primary Teaching Assistants to support staff and inspire pupils across Crawley. From child-led play in Early Years (EYFS) to foundation skills in Key Stage 1 (KS1) and SATs prep in Key Stage 2 (KS2), we match you with primary settings that fit your schedule and goals.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Partnering with primary class teachers to deliver engaging learning activities and keep pupils on task.
  • Running targeted reading, phonics, and numeracy booster sessions with individuals or small groups.
  • Delivering dedicated 1:1 assistance to children with SEN (including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs).
  • Fostering a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported.
  • Assisting with lesson prep, creative displays, and break-time monitoring.

Who We're Looking For

  • Relevant experience supporting children or young people (in schools, nurseries, youth clubs, coaching, or care).
  • A positive, adaptable mindset and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Good proficiency in core Primary English and Maths.
  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or readiness to complete one).
  • Right to work in the UK and reliable access to schools throughout Crawley.
