Primary Cover Teacher | Thurrock | Full-time | Immediate Start
Are you an enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Teacher looking for a new opportunity in Thurrock?
We are seeking a confident and dedicated Primary Cover Teacher to join a welcoming primary school, providing high-quality teaching and support across different year groups. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher who enjoys variety and is passionate about helping children achieve their potential.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across the primary age range.
- Provide classroom cover for teachers across different year groups, ensuring continuity of learning.
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs and abilities of pupils.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Manage behaviour effectively and encourage pupils to remain focused and engaged.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and support colleagues to ensure pupils receive consistent support.

The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and previous experience teaching in a primary school.
- Confident teaching across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- An adaptable and proactive approach, with the ability to settle quickly into different classrooms.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Reliable, organised, and committed to delivering high-quality teaching.
