Bures CEVC Primary School are welcoming applications from experienced professionals as well as ECT (Early Career Teachers) to cover long-term sickness.

Bures Primary School is a lovely village school on the border between Essex and Suffolk. We are a one form entry primary school with approximately 150 children on roll.

The children are delightful, parents supportive and the team fabulous!

We are looking for someone who:

  • Brings the curriculum alive to make learning an adventure.
  • Exceptional behaviour management skills, with a therapeutic/restorative approach.
  • Is a motivated and highly effective classroom practitioner with high expectations and a desire to improve practice on a daily basis.
  • Loves working as part of a team, sharing ideas and learning from others.
  • Understands and demonstrates the importance of Christian values.
