We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented primary school teacher to work with our wonderful students!

Situated within the beautiful Calthorpe Estate, our school is set in landscaped grounds close to Birmingham’s City Centre and benefits from excellent transport links. Main Purpose of the Role
To deliver high-quality teaching and learning to pupils, with a primary focus, in a class-based setting.
To provide flexible teaching across KS1-KS2, adapting to the needs of the school community.
To support pupils’ academic progress, personal development, and well-being.
As an all through school, there may be opportunities to work across our setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum, ensuring all pupils make good progress.
- Teach a class, with the flexibility to move across year groups (KS1-KS3) as required.
- Differentiate teaching to meet the varying needs and abilities of pupils.
- Create a positive, safe and stimulating classroom environment that supports learning and personal growth.
- Monitor, assess and record pupils’ progress, providing regular feedback to pupils and parents.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and enrich the curriculum and extra-curricular opportunities.
- Support the school’s ethos by fostering a culture of respect, kindness and service.
- Promote positive behaviour and uphold the school’s behaviour policy.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and ongoing professional development.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils in line with statutory requirements and school policy.

Person Specification
Qualifications And Training
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Evidence of relevant, ongoing professional development
Experience
- Successful teaching experience in a primary school setting (KS1, KS2 and/or KS3)
- Experience of teaching mixed-ability groups
- Experience with class-based teaching and curriculum planning
Skills and Knowledge
- Excellent knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies
- Ability to adapt teaching to meet a range of needs across KS1-KS2
- Strong classroom management skills
- Effective use of assessment to support learning
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Good IT skills, including the use of learning management systems
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection requirements
