Primary School Tutor / Part-Time Teaching Role
Self-employed | £36.00 - £48.00 per hour
About TforTeacher
At TforTeacher, we provide 1:1 primary tutoring to every pupil, regardless of their starting point, by teaching in ways proven to support children who find learning hardest — 'Better for SEND, Brighter for Everyone'. We specialise in working with children who need a different approach to learning, including those with autism, ADHD, working memory difficulties, low processing speed, dyslexia and dyscalculia.
The Role
A flexible, part-time teaching opportunity for a fully qualified Primary School Teacher based locally to Banbury, delivering one-to-one tuition to primary-age pupils, including children with SEN. You'll work with pupils currently on a school roll, those requiring alternative provision, and those who are home educated. This is a mobile role, teaching in local primary schools and in pupils' homes, with sessions available between 8:30am and 7pm. Build your own working hours around your existing commitments.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
