Location: Radcliffe, Greater Manchester
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Pay: £112 per day
Role: Primary SEN Teaching Assistant
We are currently recruiting for a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Radcliffe, supporting pupils within their dedicated SEN provision.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who enjoys working with children with additional needs and wants to be part of a supportive school environment.
The Role
You will work closely with the teaching team within the school's SEN provision, providing additional support to pupils throughout the school day.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Supporting pupils with a range of SEN and additional needs
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support
- Helping pupils access classroom learning and activities
- Supporting communication, social skills and emotional regulation
- Adapting activities and resources to meet individual needs
- Helping pupils develop confidence and independence
- Supporting positive behaviour and engagement
- Working closely with the class teacher and wider SEN team
- Following individual support plans and EHCP targets where appropriate

Previous experience within a primary SEN provision, special school or similar setting would be highly beneficial.

This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS (child and adult workforce), satisfactory references, and full compliance with KCSIE (2026) guidance and safer recruitment standards. Overseas police checks may be required where applicable.
