The Opportunity

You'll create an engaging, positive classroom environment where children feel confident participating, asking questions and challenging themselves.

You'll plan and deliver lessons in line with the National Curriculum, adapting your approach to ensure pupils with different abilities and needs have the opportunity to succeed.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Planning and delivering creative and engaging primary lessons.
  • Creating an inclusive classroom where pupils feel supported and motivated.
  • Adapting learning to meet different abilities and additional needs.
  • Monitoring pupil progress and using assessment to inform future teaching.
  • Establishing clear routines and positive behaviour expectations.
  • Supporting children's academic, social and emotional development.
  • Encouraging independence, resilience and confidence.
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, teaching assistants and support staff.
  • Sharing resources, ideas and effective teaching strategies.
  • Developing positive relationships with parents and carers.

About You

We're looking for a teacher who brings enthusiasm to the classroom while also wanting to continue developing professionally.

You'll Need

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Previous experience teaching within a primary setting.
  • A strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Confidence planning and delivering engaging lessons.
  • The ability to adapt teaching for different abilities and needs.
  • Positive classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Strong communication and organisation.
  • A collaborative approach to working with colleagues.
  • A commitment to your own continued professional development.
