A Primary Supply Teacher can tell Reeson Education which days they are available and which primary year groups they feel most comfortable teaching.
For daily bookings, the Primary Supply Teacher will normally deliver work prepared by the school rather than taking on the planning workload associated with a permanent class teacher position.
Responsibilities Of a Primary Supply Teacher
The Primary Supply Teacher will:
- Deliver lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 depending on experience.
- Follow the schools lesson plans and routines.
- Adapt explanations where pupils need additional support.
- Maintain clear and positive behaviour expectations.
- Work effectively with Teaching Assistants.
- Follow safeguarding and school policies.
- Keep pupils engaged throughout the school day.
- Provide a useful handover for permanent staff.

Requirements For a Primary Supply Teacher
