Long Term Teachers are working with a fantastic primary school in Bodmin who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 6 Teacher to join their team on a long-term, ongoing basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher looking for a rewarding role within a welcoming and supportive school environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons while supporting pupils to achieve their full potential as they prepare for the transition to secondary school.
The Role
- Teaching a Year 6 class on a full-time basis
- Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
- Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and the wider school community
- Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
- Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment

The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for a teacher who is:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experienced in teaching within a primary school setting
- Confident teaching Year 6 and preparing pupils for the next stage of their education
- Passionate about providing high-quality learning experiences
- Enthusiastic, reliable and committed
- Able to build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents
- Adaptable and confident working as part of a team

Salary: 140 - 160 GBP Per day
