About Emi

Emi is an online primary school programme for students aged 6–11, delivered by Mt Hobson Academy, a school within the Crimson Academies network, and powered by CGA. Primary students enroll with Mt Hobson Academy, while CGA provides the platform and support.

The programme provides live, teacher-led online learning through small-group and 1:1 classes, creating an engaging and personalised learning environment for younger students.

Students can study subjects including English, Mathematics, Science, World Geography, and Computer Science, with learning designed to build strong academic foundations while developing confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.

The Opportunity

We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Primary Teachers to deliver 1:1 online lessons as part of the Emi Northern Hemisphere programme.

We currently have students requiring teachers who can offer availability particularly within:

  • Monday–Wednesday | 1:00 a.m.–7:00 a.m. Pacific Time

This teaching window may be particularly suitable for educators based in the UK, Europe, the Middle East, or nearby time zones.

These 1:1 courses run for 28 weeks, giving teachers the opportunity to work consistently with individual students and support their academic development throughout the programme.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver engaging and interactive 1:1 online lessons to primary-aged students.
  • Adapt teaching to each student’s individual ability, pace, and learning needs.
  • Create a positive, supportive, and engaging virtual learning environment.
  • Build strong relationships with students and encourage active participation.
  • Support students in developing strong academic foundations, confidence, and curiosity.
  • Provide a consistent and high-quality learning experience throughout the course.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with relevant academic and programme teams.

About You

We are looking for educators who:

  • Have experience teaching primary or elementary-aged students.
  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification and/or recognised teacher certification.
  • Are confident working with younger learners and adapting teaching to individual needs.
  • Can deliver engaging and effective lessons in an online environment.
  • Are reliable and able to commit consistently across the course period.
  • Have strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Have availability that aligns with the Northern Hemisphere teaching window.

Experience teaching English, Mathematics, Science, World Geography, and/or Computer Science at primary level would be advantageous.
