Randstad Education is seeking an exceptional Primary Teacher to lead a unique and dynamic mixed-age class across two partnership schools in the Harrogate area.

You will be teaching a combined Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 cohort. We are looking for a proven, strong practitioner who delivers outstanding teaching and learning from day one. Please note: This role is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Mixed-Age Pedagogy: Plan and deliver a high-quality curriculum adapted for the distinct needs of EYFS, Year 1, and Year 2 within a single classroom setting.
  • SEN and Behaviour Management: Utilise deep SEN knowledge and robust behaviour management strategies to create a calm, structured, and inclusive environment.
  • Seamless Split-Site Delivery: Maintain consistent routines and high expectations across both locations (St Cuthberts: Mon/Thu/Fri; Glasshouses: Tue/Wed).

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with substantial, proven primary teaching experience.
  • Expertise in Early Years and Key Stage 1: In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework and KS1 curriculum.
  • Proven SEN and Behaviour Expertise: Strong track record in supporting complex needs and managing challenging behaviour effectively.
