🌟 Primary Teacher – Hartlepool & Durham 🌟

Are you a passionate Primary Teacher looking for your next opportunity? Milk Education is working with a number of welcoming and supportive Primary Schools across Hartlepool, Durham and the surrounding areas, and we're looking for enthusiastic and dedicated teachers to join our schools throughout the 2026/27 academic year.

Whether you're an experienced teacher, an ECT looking to gain valuable experience, or looking for a new long-term opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.

💷 £145 – £240 per day

As a Primary Teacher, you'll play a key role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment, supporting pupils to achieve their potential and making a real difference to their education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the primary curriculum.
  • Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress.
  • Promote positive behaviour and high expectations.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
  • Support pupils with SEND where required.
  • Work effectively as part of the wider school team.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • ECTs and experienced teachers welcome.
  • Experience teaching within EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
  • Completion of the required KCSIE safeguarding training/course, or willingness to complete this as part of the onboarding process.
