Primary Teacher: Tower Hamlets September 2026

Location: Tower Hamlets (near Whitechapel)

Salary: MPS / UPS (Inner London)

Primary Teacher: Exciting KS1 Opportunity

A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Tower Hamlets is looking to appoint an outstanding Primary Teacher to join its Key Stage 1 team from September 2026.

This Primary Teacher role offers the opportunity to teach a well-supported Year 1 class within a school that places equal importance on academic achievement, creativity, and pupil wellbeing. The Role

As a Primary Teacher, You Will

  • Deliver engaging and ambitious lessons across the Year 1 curriculum
  • Build strong foundations in phonics, literacy, and mathematics
  • Create an inclusive classroom with high expectations for all learners
  • Use assessment to inform planning and accelerate progress
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an inspiring curriculum
  • Build positive partnerships with parents and carers

The Ideal Candidate

The School Is Looking For a Primary Teacher Who

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has recent UK primary teaching experience
  • Has a secure understanding of the KS1 curriculum and phonics
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management
  • Is enthusiastic, reflective, and committed to continuous improvement
