Our client, a renowned educational institution in Dukinfield, Tameside, is currently searching for a dedicated and experienced Primary Teacher to join their talented team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to transform the lives of children with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, as well as those with special educational needs (SEN), guiding them on a path of academic and personal growth.
About the Role
As a Primary Teacher (SEMH / SEN) with our client, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse learning styles and needs of your students. Your passion for inclusive education will shine through as you create a nurturing, supportive environment where every child can thrive. With a salary of £42,000+ per annum (negotiable depending on experience), this position offers an exceptional compensation package and the chance to truly make a difference in the lives of your students.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students with SEMH and SEN
- Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment that fosters academic, social, and emotional growth
- Collaborate with SEND coordinators, teaching assistants, and therapists to develop and implement individualised learning plans
- Employ evidence-based strategies and interventions to support the unique needs of each student
- Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the school's wider initiatives
- Engage with the local community and build strong partnerships to enhance the educational experience
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with children with SEMH and/or SEN in a primary school setting
- Thorough understanding of SEND legislation, policies, and best practices
- Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for inclusive education
