Year 3 Teacher: Maternity Cover

Greenford, West London

Reeson Education are delighted to be working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Greenford who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Year 3 Teacher to join their team from October.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate primary teacher to take on a maternity cover position within a friendly school that is committed to providing a high-quality education for all its pupils.

The successful candidate will be an engaging and dedicated teacher who can create a positive classroom environment, inspire pupils and deliver consistently high-quality lessons across the Year 3 curriculum.

The Role

  • Teach a Year 3 class as maternity cover
  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative and well-structured lessons
  • Support pupils in making strong academic and personal progress
  • Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider life of the school
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience Teaching Within The Primary Age Range
  • Ideally, previous experience teaching Key Stage 2, particularly Year 3
  • A strong understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching
  • High expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
  • A nurturing and inclusive approach to supporting children's development
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a supportive school team
