Year 2 Teacher - Southwark
Location: Southwark, South East London
Position: Year 2 Teacher
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
Pay: £180-£230 per day
Start: ASAP
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Southwark on a full-time basis.
The successful teacher will take responsibility for a Year 2 class, delivering engaging lessons and creating a positive learning environment where pupils can develop academically and socially.

The Role
- Planning and delivering engaging Year 2 lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Creating a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
- Differentiating lessons to support a range of abilities and additional needs
- Preparing pupils for the transition into KS2
- Working closely with Teaching Assistants and other members of staff
- Maintaining strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

Requirements
- QTS is essential
- Previous Primary/KS1 teaching experience
- Strong knowledge of the Year 2 curriculum
- Confident classroom and behaviour management
- A positive, reliable and enthusiastic approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
