- Lead targeted literacy, phonics, and numeracy intervention workshops for small groups of pupils.
- Help classroom teachers prepare engaging learning materials and set up interactive learning zones.
- Provide focused assistance to children requiring extra help to grasp daily lesson objectives.
- Supervise children during outdoor breaks, assemblies, and school trips to ensure high safety standards.
- Share observations on pupil engagement and academic progress directly with the teaching team.
Requirements for the Role
- Direct experience supporting children in an educational, childcare, or coaching environment.
- Solid academic foundation with GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English Language and Mathematics.
- A warm, proactive, and adaptable approach to handling daily classroom tasks.
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or readiness to complete a new application).
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build quick rapport with children and colleagues.
