Primary Teaching Assistant (EYFS, KS1 and KS2): Flexible Supply and Long-Term

Are you passionate about helping young children thrive in their early education? We are seeking dedicated and nurturing Primary Teaching Assistants to join vibrant primary schools across Surrey and surrounding areas. Whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant, a graduate looking to build classroom experience before pursuing QTS, or someone with a background in early years, childcare, or care work, we have flexible day-to-day supply and long-term contracts available.

We cover all primary key stages, allowing you to work in your preferred year groups: Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2).

Responsibilities

  • Assist the primary class teacher with daily lesson preparation, resource management, and classroom setup.
  • Lead small group interventions in phonics, early reading, writing, and numeracy.
  • Provide 1:1 support for primary pupils with additional needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, or speech and language delays.
  • Encourage positive behaviour, social development, and active engagement in the primary classroom.
  • Support outdoor play, creative activities, and EYFS play-based learning.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
