- Assist teachers with classroom preparation, managing resources, and displaying pupil achievements.
- Deliver structured group interventions in early reading, writing, and core mathematics.
- Provide extra attention to pupils who need help maintaining focus or understanding instructions.
- Supervise indoor and outdoor play routines to ensure safe, inclusive social interaction.
- Provide continuous feedback to lead teachers regarding pupil progress and engagement.
Requirements for the Role
- Practical experience working alongside children in a school, nursery, or youth work capacity.
- Minimum GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent in both English and Mathematics.
- A proactive can-do attitude paired with strong organisational capabilities.
- An Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness for one).
- Clear communication skills for interacting with pupils, staff, and parents.
