Principal Geotechnical Engineer: Birmingham

Salary: GBP38,000 - GBP46,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Geotechnical Engineer to join a well-established UK engineering consultancy delivering specialist geo-environmental and ground investigation solutions across a wide range of infrastructure, commercial, and residential projects. Based in Birmingham, you'll become part of a collaborative team known for technical excellence and innovative problem-solving.
As a Principal Geotechnical Engineer, You'll Be Responsible For
- Leading ground investigations and geotechnical assessments.
- Managing projects from tender through to successful delivery.
- Producing high-quality technical reports and providing expert advice.
- Mentoring junior engineers and supporting their development.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Working with the design team on Geotechnical Design projects.

To be considered for this Principal Geotechnical Engineer role, you'll have:
- A relevant degree and significant geotechnical or geo-environmental experience.
- Strong project management, leadership, and report writing skills.
- Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.
- A full UK driving license.
- Full right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
- Residence in or within a reasonable commuting distance of the Birmingham office.
