A leading environmental consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Ecologist to join its expanding team in Bristol. The company delivers a broad range of ecological and environmental services, working alongside clients across development, infrastructure and land management projects. As a Senior Ecologist, you will take responsibility for managing and delivering ecological projects from inception through to completion. The position will involve undertaking and overseeing protected species surveys, producing technical reports, providing ecological advice to clients and supporting project teams. To be considered for the Senior Ecologist position, you should have:

  • A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related discipline
  • Previous experience working within an ecological consultancy
  • Strong protected species survey and assessment experience
  • Experience producing ecological reports and technical documentation
  • Good understanding of UK wildlife legislation and planning policy
  • BNG and/or habitat assessment experience
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Full right to work in the UK
  • Be living in or within a commutable distance of Bristol
