Job Description

Principal Agile Project Manager (Data & Analytics)

Why This Role?

We're looking for an experienced Principal Agile Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex Data & Analytics projects for enterprise customers. This is a highly visible client-facing role combining Agile leadership, commercial ownership, and project governance to deliver measurable business outcomes. You'll work closely with customers, delivery teams, and senior stakeholders to drive successful project execution from initiation through to operational handover.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading end-to-end delivery of Data Analytics and Data Warehousing projects
  • Defining project scope, objectives, and delivery roadmaps with customers and stakeholders
  • Running Agile delivery processes including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and Scrum ceremonies
  • Coaching customers and delivery teams on Agile and Scrum best practice
  • Managing project budgets, forecasts, commercials, and change requests
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Producing delivery reporting and communicating progress to senior stakeholders
  • Building strong relationships across customers, internal teams, and third-party suppliers
  • Leading cross-functional teams to achieve successful project outcomes
  • Ensuring seamless transition of delivered solutions into BAU or Managed Services support

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Proven experience delivering projects within Agile and Scrum environments
  • Strong Scrum Master experience with practical Agile delivery expertise
  • Experience managing project governance, budgets, and financial forecasting
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience engaging senior leadership
  • Strong communication and customer-facing consulting skills
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate cross-functional delivery teams
  • Experience delivering Data Analytics and/or Data Warehousing projects
  • Strong risk, issue, and dependency management experience

Desirable

  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)
  • AgilePM, Prince2, PMP, or other project management qualifications
  • Experience within technology consulting, professional services, or managed services environments
  • Experience leading digital transformation initiatives
  • Experience working within complex enterprise customer environments
