Shape the Future of AI & Data with Us

At Datatonic, we are Google Cloud's premier partner in AI, driving transformation for world-class businesses. We push the boundaries of technology with expertise in machine learning, data engineering, and analytics on Google Cloud. By partnering with us, clients future-proof their operations, unlock actionable insights, and stay ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving world.

Your Mission

As a Principal AI Architect, you will own the end-to-end design and delivery of scalable data and AI platforms, bridging the gap between initial scoping and production-ready execution. This is a builder-led, delivery-focused architecture role - not a pure pre-sales position.

You will work directly alongside engineering teams to take client proofs-of-concept and scale them into robust enterprise systems capable of serving hundreds to thousands of users. You will act as the technical anchor across project lifecycles, translating complex AI capabilities into tangible business outcomes for executive stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

  • Architecture & Delivery: Design and build data platforms, full-stack application architectures, and agentic AI platforms from initial discovery through to production deployment.
  • Technical Ownership: Own the end-to-end technical design of complex projects, ensuring architectures are scalable, secure, and aligned with client business objectives.
  • Pre-Sales & Scoping: Conduct technical scoping during client intake, support account growth, and design viable technical solutions without losing connection to hands-on execution.
  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary technical interface for client-side CTOs, Heads of Engineering, and Transformation Leaders; translate complex technical architectures into clear, non-technical business strategy.
  • Infrastructure Strategy: Define and implement strategies across networking, data acquisition, security, guardrails, and AI/data workload orchestration.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal delivery leads, AI/data engineers, and commercial teams to drive cohesive project execution.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
