We're working with one of the fastest-growing AI and data businesses in the world as they continue to invest heavily in next-generation AI products.

They're looking for a Principal AI Engineer to take ownership of highly visible AI initiatives, helping shape products used by millions of learners and professionals globally.

This is a role for someone who loves building. You'll be given the freedom to experiment, test new ideas and bring innovative AI-powered experiences to market in an environment where AI sits at the heart of the business rather than as an add-on feature.

What you'll be doing

You'll work alongside product leaders, engineers and domain specialists to design and build intelligent systems that solve complex user problems at scale.

The role combines deep technical engineering with product thinking, giving you significant influence over both what gets built and how it's delivered.

You'll be expected to:

  • Build and launch AI-powered products from concept to production
  • Develop intelligent workflows and user experiences powered by modern AI technologies
  • Drive experimentation and continuously improve product performance
  • Influence technical strategy and product direction
  • Explore emerging AI capabilities and apply them to real-world customer challenges
  • Help define best practices for building high-quality AI systems

What we're looking for

We're interested in engineers who have a genuine track record of building and shipping AI products in commercial environments.

You'll likely have:

  • Strong experience developing AI applications and products
  • Expertise working with LLMs and modern generative AI technologies
  • Excellent software engineering skills, particularly with Python
  • A product-focused mindset and strong commercial awareness
  • Experience taking ownership of solutions from idea through to delivery
  • A passion for AI that extends beyond your day-to-day role
