The role…

Celent is seeking an experienced Principal Analyst to join our Wealth Management team in London. This is a senior role for someone who already has a strong reputation in the wealth management industry and can make an immediate impact through thought leadership, client engagement, and commercial development.

You will lead research on the strategic and technology trends transforming wealth management while working closely with financial institutions and technology firms globally. You will also play an important role in growing the practice by developing new commercial opportunities and expanding relationships with existing clients.

What You’ll Be Doing…

  • Produce market-leading research and thought leadership on wealth management and WealthTech.
  • Identify emerging trends and translate them into commercially relevant research.
  • Advise senior executives at wealth managers, private banks, and technology providers.
  • Lead client advisory engagements and executive workshops.
  • Present research at industry conferences, webinars, and executive events.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of senior industry executives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including advisory engagements, subscriptions, and sponsored research.
  • Collaborate with Celent analysts globally on cross-practice research initiatives.
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the continued growth of the Wealth Management practice.

What We’re Looking For…

  • 12+ years of experience in wealth management, WealthTech, consulting, research, or financial services strategy.
  • Deep understanding of wealth management operating models, technology, and industry trends
  • Recognized expertise in one or more areas such as:
    • Artificial Intelligence
    • Advisor technology
    • Portfolio management
    • Client onboarding
    • Digital wealth platforms
    • WealthTech ecosystem
    • CRM and advisor productivity
  • Exceptional writing and analytical skills.
  • Outstanding presentation and communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives.
  • Proven commercial mindset with experience identifying and developing client opportunities.
  • Existing industry network across wealth management and technology providers.
  • Experience authoring influential research or thought leadership.
