Inside IR35
Are you an Angular expert who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and influencing engineering direction at scale?
We're looking for a Principal Angular Engineer to play a key role in shaping the future of a large-scale enterprise platform. This is an opportunity to combine hands-on engineering with technical leadership, driving architecture, modernisation initiatives, and engineering excellence across a complex technology landscape.
The Role
As a Principal Angular Engineer, you'll be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of highly complex solutions, acting as a technical authority within the engineering team. You'll challenge the status quo, champion best practice, and help define the future direction of front-end development.
Working closely with architects, product teams, and senior engineering stakeholders, you'll lead technical decision-making, improve system quality, and drive the adoption of modern engineering standards and practices.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
