Principal Architect (Pre-sales - Data & Digital Transformation)
Shape opportunities. Design solutions. Lead delivery.
At DigX, we're looking for an experienced Pre-sales Principal Enterprise/Solution Architect to help clients solve complex business challenges through technology, data, cloud, and digital transformation. This is a highly client-facing role that sits at the intersection of consulting, pre-sales, architecture, and delivery.
We're looking for someone who is comfortable leading discovery workshops, shaping opportunities, defining solution approaches, supporting proposals, and building confidence with senior stakeholders. Equally, you'll be capable of leading architecture and solution design through to successful delivery.
Whilst many of our current opportunities are data-focused, we're interested in people who can think beyond a single technology domain and architect end-to-end business solutions.
What You'll Be Doing
Shape Client Opportunities
- Lead discovery and requirements workshops with client stakeholders.
- Help organisations understand the art of the possible.
- Translate business challenges into clear, deliverable solution approaches.
- Develop target architectures, transformation roadmaps, and implementation strategies.
- Support proposals, statements of work, solution narratives, and commercial discussions.
- Work closely with sales and account teams to shape and win opportunities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
