🌟 Principal Associate – Employment Team
This role can be based in our Brierley Hill or Edinburgh office
Higgs LLP is looking for an experienced Principal Associate to join our respected Employment team. Role Overview
- Advise on complex employee relations matters and manage employment tribunal cases from start to finish
- Deliver practical, commercial employment law and HR advice
- Design and deliver bespoke client training
- Build strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Support employment aspects of mergers, acquisitions, franchises, and insolvencies
- Contribute to business development, including newsletters, seminars, and webinars

Expertise we are looking for
- Strong employment law expertise (unfair dismissal, redundancy, TUPE, discrimination)
- Extensive tribunal case management and advocacy experience
- Excellent drafting skills across contracts, policies, and handbooks
- Commercial awareness, sound judgement, and the ability to manage competing demands
- A collaborative, people-focused approach with the ability to influence and support colleagues
- Confidence using core business/legal systems and a strong understanding of data security
