What You'll Be Doing
- Acting as the technical lead and first point of contact for Building Control specialists within your regional team.
- Assessing complex Building Regulation applications, reviewing detailed plans and ensuring compliance with legislation and performance standards.
- Building trusted relationships with clients, architects, developers and construction professionals throughout the design and construction process.
- Providing expert technical guidance and supporting colleagues with complex regulatory queries and escalations.
- Carrying out site inspections where required to verify compliance and support project delivery.
- Supporting workload planning, technical quality assurance and service delivery across the regional team.
- Assisting with house type approvals, technical audits and commercial activities, including fee quotations.
- Promoting Premier Guarantee's Building Control services and identifying opportunities to strengthen client relationships.
- Deputising for the Head of Building Control Technical Delivery when required, ensuring continuity of technical leadership.

What You Bring
- Significant experience within Building Control and a strong understanding of Building Regulations and associated construction standards.
- The ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to a range of stakeholders.
- Experience building collaborative relationships with clients, contractors and construction professionals.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A collaborative approach with a passion for supporting colleagues and maintaining high technical standards.
- Commercial awareness and a customer-focused mindset.
- Confidence using Microsoft 365 applications.

What You'll Need
- A professional qualification such as MRICS, MCABE, MCIOB, or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- Registered Building Inspector status (or actively working towards Class 2F Registered Building Inspector).
- A full UK driving licence.
- The ability to undertake site visits as required.
