Here at Pick Everard, we are passionate about creating a prosperous and sustainable future, taking a fresh perspective on the built environment. Our core values of professionalism, compassion, drive, and positivity are at the heart of everything we do.

Do you want to work within a collaborative, dynamic environment, with a team of highly skilled and like-minded professionals?

Would you enjoy working on diverse projects that make a real difference to communities across the UK?

If you answered yes to the above questions, we want to hear from you!

About the Role

We're looking for someone with excellent technical skills and the ability to independently run and lead complex projects, whilst providing junior colleagues with technical support and guidance.

Pick Everard has an established portfolio of high-profile and nationally significant clients, including UNESCO world heritage sites, major museums and cultural institutions, mission-critical facilities, healthcare estates, custodial environments, energy and infrastructure, and complex public sector assets.

As part of the global Artelia Group, you will also have the opportunity to work within a wider international engineering and consultancy business, drawing on specialist expertise and collaborating with colleagues across the UK and internationally.

Joining a supportive network as part of our national Building Services team, you can expect to receive valuable training, guidance, and genuine scope for career development.

The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain the appropriate level of UK security clearance in order to work on certain projects. The required clearance level will depend on the nature of the work and the sensitivity of the information involved.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the electrical design and delivery of complex building services projects across both the private and public sectors.
  • Preparing designs, feasibility studies, technical reports, specifications, and contract documentation.
  • Undertaking electrical system analysis, calculations, and technical assessments.
  • Managing projects and design packages from concept through to construction, commissioning, and handover.
  • Coordinating electrical designs with mechanical, structural, architectural, and other specialist disciplines.
  • Liaising directly with clients, contractors, and other key project stakeholders.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered accurately, on programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Managing project deliverables and supporting resource planning across the team.
  • Providing technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineers and graduate trainees.
  • Supporting client relationships, proposals, and wider business development activity.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety requirements, CDM Regulations, company procedures, and relevant legislation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
