About The Role
We are building something fundamentally different.
Advisory OS is not a consulting methodology, a knowledge repository, or an AI initiative. It is a cognitive operating system for advisory services which combines:
- Consulting methods
- Organisational knowledge
- AI-enabled workflows
- Human expertise
- Governance and assurance
- Commercial attribution
into a single, repeatable operating environment.
The role will be responsible for designing, codifying, evolving and governing this operating system. This role sits at the intersection of consulting, operating model design, knowledge management, AI, organisational architecture and systems thinking.
The successful candidate will translate expert thinking into scalable structures, workflows and methods that can be used repeatedly across advisory and consulting engagements.
The objective is simple:
Convert consulting from a people-dependent craft into an institutional capability that improves with every engagement.
What You’ll Be Doing
Operating System Architecture
- Design and evolve the Advisory architecture including: Pattern catalogues, Method packs, Workflow definitions, Assurance mechanisms, Knowledge structures, Governance models, AI-enabled delivery journeys.
- Create operating artefacts which are practical, scalable and directly usable by practitioners.

- Move the organisation from templates and slideware toward a reusable intellectual architecture homed in AI and accessible by all, with usage governed and attributable.

- Design and maintain: Knowledge taxonomies, Metadata structures, Version control approaches, Knowledge lifecycle processes, Knowledge quality controls.
- Ensure organisational knowledge remains trusted, curated and reusable.
AI Workflow Design
- Work with Consulting, Data, Security and Technology teams to develop AI-enabled workflows across: Retrieval, Analysis, Verification, Challenge, Synthesis, Learning capture.
- Ensure AI augments rather than replaces professional judgement.
Experimentation and Continuous Improvement
- Establish a culture of learning through: Pilot design, Workflow testing, Adoption measurement, Outcome assessment, Continuous refinement.
- Operate with a product mindset rather than a project mindset.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
