Principal Cell and Advanced Therapy Nurse
Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey as a Principal Cell and Advanced Therapy Nurse at GenesisCare UK? Join our dedicated team and be part of something extraordinary.
As our Principal Cell and Advanced Therapy Nurse, you'll provide national clinical and professional leadership across our transplant, cellular therapy, and advanced haematology services, including CAR-T and future cellular therapies.
Working closely with the Head of Nursing, Medical Directors, Pharmacy, Quality, and Operational leaders, you'll help ensure the safe, effective, and consistent delivery of high-quality transplant and cell therapy services across the GenesisCare UK network.
As a visible and credible clinical leader, you'll set strategic direction, assure clinical governance, lead workforce development, and champion innovation, ensuring our services remain compliant, patient-centred, and future-focused.
What You'll Do
- Provide national leadership for transplant and cell therapy nursing practice across GenesisCare UK.
- Act as the clinical subject matter expert for transplant and cellular therapies, including CAR-T.
- Lead the development and assurance of competency frameworks and training programmes for transplant and cell therapy nursing.
- Support and develop senior nurses across our sites, promoting a strong culture of learning, reflective practice, and professional development.
- Provide strategic oversight of clinical governance, safety, and quality assurance, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory and professional requirements.
- Lead and support clinical audit, incident review, quality improvement initiatives, and the development of policies, pathways, SOPs, and guidelines.
- Shape the strategic development of transplant and cell therapy services, including the introduction of new therapies and innovative models of care.
- Work with operational teams to support safe staffing, appropriate skill mix, sustainable service delivery, and capacity optimisation.
- Provide expert professional advice to senior leaders, clinicians, and operational teams and represent GenesisCare at internal and external forums.

What You'll Have
- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (Adult).
- Extensive senior clinical experience within haematology, transplant, and/or cellular therapies.
- Proven leadership experience at a senior or strategic level, including experience leading services across multiple sites.
- A strong understanding of clinical governance, quality improvement, and risk management.
- Demonstrable experience of service development and change management.
- A Master's degree or equivalent experience in cancer/haematology nursing, leadership, or healthcare management.
- A post-registration qualification in Oncology and/or Haematology.
- Evidence of advanced clinical and leadership CPD.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and teaching skills.
- The ability to travel regularly across GenesisCare sites.
