About The Role

The Principal Civil Engineer position with RGB in Cardiff offers a permanent contract and a salary between £50,000 and £60,000 annually. This is a key senior role within the civil engineering team, suited to an experienced engineer with strong technical capability across civil infrastructure, drainage and SuDS design, including SAB approval experience.

The successful candidate will bring 7+ years’ experience working with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroDrainage/Flow, alongside a broad portfolio of project delivery across multiple sectors.

The Role

As Principal Civil Engineer, you will take a hands-on role in project delivery while working closely with the Civils Lead. You will also play an important part in:

  • Mentoring and supporting graduates and technicians
  • Providing technical leadership across projects
  • Contributing to team development and business growth
