ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Client Relationship Manager, you will report to the Head of Client Relationship Management. In this role, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of Innocap’s business, clients, and Dedicated Managed Account platform, and will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of institutional client relationships by acting as a trusted advisor, coordinating internal teams, and delivering exceptional client outcomes.

- Managing a portfolio of complex institutional client relationships and developing structured relationship strategies and account plans.
- Growing client relationships and revenue by anticipating client needs and expanding engagement through new business development and strategic account planning.
- Ensuring overall client satisfaction by monitoring deliverables and making sure client concerns, needs, and priorities are properly communicated, addressed, or escalated.
- Building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers across client organizations, external managers, and internal Innocap teams.
- Coordinating effectively across Relationship Management, Platform Management, Investment Solutions, Operations, Treasury, Accounting, and Client Reporting to support strong client outcomes.
- Proactively identifying, communicating, and resolving client-related issues both internally and externally, including difficult conversations when required.
- Managing priorities across clients to balance client needs, internal resources, commercial opportunities, and Innocap’s broader strategic objectives.
PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Significant experience in financial services, asset management, client relationship management, or a related field; experience with alternative investments is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of the institutional investment landscape, with exposure to hedge funds, alternative investments, and ideally separately managed accounts.
- Ability to manage complex institutional relationships, navigate sophisticated organizations, and communicate confidently with allocators and investment professionals.
- Commercial mindset with experience supporting revenue growth, account expansion, and strategic account planning within existing client relationships.
- Exceptional interpersonal, stakeholder management, negotiation, leadership, and influencing skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and coordinate cross-functional initiatives.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage priorities, projects, and account plans in a fast-paced environment.
- Solutions-oriented, flexible, and adaptable, with the ability to coordinate internal resources to resolve client challenges constructively.
- Self-starter with strong business judgment, personal accountability, curiosity, and a client-centric mindset.
