B8A Principal Clinical or Counselling Psychologist - 0.5WTE/18hr

A 0.5WTE/18hr vacancy for a B8A Principal Clinical or Counselling Psychologist has arisen within Stewart Centre CMHT in the Castlemilk area of South Glasgow. You’ll join an experienced and dedicated multi-disciplinary team comprising of Psychologists, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, and Psychiatrists and deliver a high quality Psychology Service to adults receiving secondary care mental health input from the Community Mental Health Team.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a high quality Psychology Service.
  • Provide supervision of psychological interventions to MDT colleagues.
  • Be line managed and supervised by the Consultant Clinical Psychologist.
  • Provide professional support and CPD opportunities from South Glasgow’s Adult Mental Health Psychology Department.

Requirements

  • Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology.
  • HCPC registered as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist.
  • Experience in adult mental health.
  • Completed, or be eligible for, formal training in the supervision of others recognised by the DClinPsy programme.
