Principal Cloud Architect / Engineer - GCP
c£100-120,000 (D.O.E) + benefits
Remote / Hybrid - Occasional travel to / around London

This business is Google Cloud's leading specialist in AI and data, working at the cutting edge of ML, analytics, and data migration. You'll join a team of experts as a subject matter expert in solution and cloud architecture, helping build out the architectural side of their next-generation AI products.
We're looking for an experienced architect to engage with customers and prospects, providing pre- and post-sales architectural advice and thought leadership across machine learning, analytics, and data migration projects.

Your role:
- Designing and implementing large-scale big data cloud architectures
- Owning projects end-to-end, from conception to completion
- Working with end-to-end production-grade cloud technologies across data, security, and networking
- Leveraging container technologies effectively in projects
- Programming in Python, Java, and SQL to build scalable, high-performance code
- Delivering scalable, robust, high-performing solutions for enterprise clients
- Technical pre-sales - championing innovative, disruptive proposals

Tech Skills needed:
- GCP - designing and migrating complex, production-grade cloud deployments
- Container technologies (GKE / Kubernetes)
- Python, Java, SQL would be a plus
Package:
- c£120,000 base salary (D.O.E)
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Private health care
- Income protection
Location:
- Remote based, but London trips ideal for workshops
