What to Expect
Be recognised as McLaren Automotive's leading authority in structured problem solving, tackling the business's most complex technical and quality challenges.
Working across manufacturing, new model development, warranty and vehicle programmes, you'll lead high-profile investigations, influence senior stakeholders and drive transformational quality improvements.
This is a unique opportunity to shape problem-solving strategy across the organisation while working with some of the most advanced engineering and manufacturing teams in the automotive industry.
What You'll Do
- Lead investigations into the most complex quality and engineering challenges across the entire vehicle lifecycle.
- Drive customer protection activities and quality containment actions, ensuring robust resolution of critical issues.
- Provide technical leadership and coaching to engineers, embedding best practice problem-solving techniques across the business.
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify root causes, implement corrective actions and deliver lasting improvements.
- Manage quality transformation projects that enhance business performance, product quality and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Bring
- Extensive experience leading structured problem-solving activities within engineering, automotive, manufacturing or related technical environments.
- Expert knowledge of quality methodologies, data analysis and root cause investigation techniques.
- The ability to navigate ambiguity, make informed decisions and solve highly complex technical challenges.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence presenting and influencing at all levels.
- A proactive, resilient mindset with a genuine passion for problem solving and continuous improvement.
