Are you ready to help deliver a new generation of high-quality, sustainable council homes for York? Could you use your construction expertise to support project delivery, drive technical excellence and ensure exceptional quality from design through to completion?
Join our large Housing Delivery team as Principal Construction and Technical Manager and play a key role in assuring technical standards and on-site construction quality across our ambitious Housing Delivery Programme.
As part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, you will shape specifications, review designs, coordinate technical and on-site resources, and work closely with developers, contractors, consultants and council services. You will help ensure our homes are safe, built to last and provide excellent long-term value for the Council and York’s communities.

Hybrid working arrangements are available for this role. Each role at CYC is different and your working arrangements will be determined based on the requirements of the role and in collaboration with you and your needs as part of the recruitment process. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team.
