The Role

This is an opportunity for an established Senior, Principal or Managing Consultant who wants to operate at a high level, build a valuable market and have genuine ownership over their success. You'll work across AI, cloud infrastructure and Web3, partnering directly with companies tackling complex engineering challenges.

You'll own the full recruitment lifecycle, from developing client relationships and winning new business to identifying and securing exceptional technical talent. But this isn't simply about filling roles.

We want someone who can become a genuine authority in their market. Someone clients trust for their judgement, candidates respect for their knowledge, and colleagues look to as an example of what great looks like.

You'll have the autonomy to operate as a high-performing individual contributor, with the infrastructure, relationships and support of an established business behind you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Owning your market. Building deep relationships across a specialist technical ecosystem and becoming recognised for your expertise.
  • Winning and developing business. Working directly with founders, CTOs and engineering leaders to understand their challenges and shape hiring strategies.
  • Delivering exceptional searches. Identifying, engaging and securing hard-to-find engineering talent across global markets.
  • Building long-term partnerships. Developing client relationships that extend well beyond individual placements.
  • Raising the standard. Contributing to a high-performance environment where quality, commercial ambition and personal accountability matter.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Who We're Looking For

You've already established yourself in software engineering recruitment and have the results to demonstrate it. You know how to build a market, develop relationships and consistently generate revenue. You're commercially sharp, technically curious and confident engaging with senior stakeholders. Ideally, you'll bring experience across AI, cloud, infrastructure or adjacent engineering disciplines, although we're more interested in your track record and ability to learn than an exact market match.

You're ambitious, but not simply chasing your next commission cheque. You want to build something valuable. A reputation, a network, a market and a career with genuine long-term upside. And you want to be surrounded by people who take their work as seriously as you do.

Why REALM?

We're building the kind of search firm that ambitious recruiters want to be part of. A business with the clients, markets, technology and culture to give exceptional people the opportunity to perform at their best. We've invested significantly in our brand, systems, technology and people. We're moving into a substantially larger London office, expanding our team and creating new opportunities for people who want to play a meaningful part in our growth.
