Job Title: Senior to Principal Consultant – AI Platforms
Salary
£40,000–£60,000 base + uncapped commission up to 50%
Location
London | Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 from home
About the Role
Our client is building an AI Platforms recruitment business around a simple proposition: give proven billers the market, fees, and earning structure to make significantly more money.
Senior and Principal consultants across the wider AI and Blockchain divisions are consistently billing £300k+, while consultants elsewhere in the business are currently reaching £250k–£300k. Average fees sit around £30k, rising to approximately £40k on US business, with roughly 70% of revenue coming from the US. Your commission is uncapped, paid monthly, and can reach 50%, with 50/50 splits across the board.
This isn't a role for someone looking to learn recruitment from scratch. It's for a proven commercial recruiter who wants to build a market, own their clients, and maximize their take-home.
The Senior to Principal Consultant will become the commercial right hand to a million-pound biller, helping build an AI Platforms market from the ground up while creating your own client base and revenue stream.

Role Highlights
- Build and win new accounts across AI Platforms and emerging technical markets.
- Own the full 360 cycle, from originating business through to successful delivery.
- Build a market systematically and turn new clients into repeat, multi-role accounts.
- Use conferences, networks, and targeted BD to access high-value US and UK opportunities.
- Mentor junior consultants while helping shape the commercial strategy of the division.
You Will Need
- A proven 360 recruitment track record with significant self-generated billing.
- Evidence that your billing comes from clients you personally won, not simply inherited accounts.
- A genuine hunter mentality and a clear strategy for building and converting a BD funnel.
- Experience within AI, blockchain, data, semiconductors, machine learning, or another technical STEM market.
- The ambition to build something substantial and help develop people around you.
